We have been selling on Amazon for over 10 years and have recently made some mistakes listing name-brand items as generic. Our account was deactivated for "Repeat Violations - Suspected Intellectual Property Violations". We have submitted appeals several times but always receive this response
"Thank you for submitting your appeal. We reviewed your appeal but are unable to accept it at this time as it does not have enough information. Your account remains at risk of deactivation. Please include the missing information listed below in your appeal:
-- Details on the actions you have taken to resolve all outstanding infringement violations in the initial notice.
-- Detailed steps you have implemented that will prevent you from repeating the same infringement violation in the future.
-- Evidence or examples that demonstrate your account is compliant with our Intellectual Property policy."
We call the Account Health Specialist who always tells us all the points mentioned above have been addressed and they would have approved us to be reinstated. However, they say is had to be escalated to another department.
My question is this, has anyone had any success getting their account reinstated using a 3rd party to submit their appeal. I have spoken with several that I found using a google search and I have not found any that will give a guarantee and most want about $1500 for their service. This is a lot of money to throw away if Amazon is just not allowing 3rd party resellers to sell any more (although we are authorized by several manufacturers to sell their products).
I tend to agree with the general consensus on here that Amazon is wanting only their brand, or for the manufacturers to sell directly on Amazon.com now. Hopefully someone can tell me I am wrong.
