Bulk Update Using CSV Files
Okay - I must be missing something fairly obvious here…
I’m trying to use CSV files to update product information and
I’m trying to download an inventory file populated with my product details.
I have navigated to: Add Products via Upload --> Download an Inventory File
But this seems to only download an empty template.
How do I download a csv file populated with product details I have already listed?

Short Answer: You can’t.
Longer Answer: But… You could try and ask seller support to provide you with a one-off version. I believe some forum users have managed to get copies of the data, but it’s certainly not common practice, and unlikely to be quick.

there is a way but takes a few cut n pasting by downloading reports in a txt file and putting it into the empty boxs yourself by doing one category at a time when you download the reports

Contact the seller support team and request them to activate your category based inventory report. Once it is activated then you will be able to download the inventory file. After editing the file upload it again. I hope this will help.

In addition to all the good advice already given, you must upload inventory files as a text tab delimited file (.txt) not CSV

Hi All. We have uploaded Our inventory after downloading the Master csv file. Amazon system has assigned to our products own ASIN number as we are very new but uploaded over 2000 Products they Limited our Products and added some images we do not have in our Database i.e. we sell women cocktail dresses in the Downloaded csv file there are Required Fields full with Battery Informations which is non sense we haven’t choosen anything with batteries just women dresses.

Images issues: We see Bycles, Trekking equipments & Lots of Sofa-Couches instead of Our Clothing. and on each Clothing uploaded there is always one Dress which is on Every product we have uploaded which is funny as on our Official E-commerce pages we do not have that image either.
I assume Amazon is Reusing their Ols ASIN numbers for new products once the old one is no more in use which is causing this issue.
Let’s see where this will take us.
If you had same experience and had a solution would be great if you could give us any information related to solve the problem.
Thanks in Advance.
