AZ Claim vs Amazon refund

What is the difference between an AZ claim and Amazon giving a refund? I've had a few refunds recently that Amazon has given to a customer but they aren't under AZ claims. Can I make a SAFE-T claim against a refund (as oppposed to AZ.)

Thanks.

Hello! @Lyrics_Art

This is Roberto. Thank you for using the forums.

For refunds that Amazon initiated on your behalf, you can raise a SAFE-T claim, please see the help page below to determine eligibility and to familiarize yourself with the policy:

Reimbursement policy for seller-fulfilled orders with pre-paid return labels

How to identify if a refund has been initiated by Amazon? Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to Manage Returns
  2. Find the Order in question
  3. Click view more details
  4. Check the Resolution. If the resolution says "RefundOnFirstScan" OR "AutomatedRefund", these are indicators that Amazon issued the refund.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Regards,

Roberto
