Keywords Marketing Campaign
Hi!
Just trying to get some advice/ideas on what sellers use for marketing on Amazon now that we have to pay for keywords. I tried the marketing campaign using the keywords for a couple of days and with approx £1000.00 sales, amazon charged me £200 bidding charges on the keywords. Cannot afford this so just wondering what everyone is doing.
Is this what everyone uses nowdays to increase orders on Amazon?
Thanks

Use different keywords, include exclusions, change the bidding and the list goes on…
You need to modify your campaign to the most effective/lowest cost.
And don’t just take Amazon’s suggestions as gospel.

In my experience £200 spend for £1000 in sales is pretty decent on here. Its just a case of refining your campaigns by removing low converting keywords and adjusting your maximum bids and budgets to meet your advertising goals.
Also make sure you’re building a margin into your sales price to account for advertising spend.
While I use Amazon PPC quite a bit i fear in the long term it’ll be the downfall of this platform for smaller brands as bigger players will occupy all the sponsored ad placements making it harder to get a look in. I hope i’m wrong
