Listing variations problem. Not all are being created

I had some issues recently with making new listing with variations. I contacted Amazon but my case is still open after 72h and no sign of reply.
I sell T-shirts and every listing usually has 12 variations. 6 sizes x 2 colours.
When I tried to create new listing, after filling all the details and clicking Save&Finish, only 2 variations were created, very random size and colour. I thought it could be my browser error so I tried to create another listing, same thing happened but 7 random variations were created this time instead of 12. I never had this problem before.

Has this been resolved? I am having one hell of a time. Decided on Tuesday to bite the bullet and start uploading via flat file. Did all the homework, watched lots of Amazon and you tube videos…and then error messages. So on to support and told to use a different template. Same again, the parent sku wouldn’t be accepted. So they did jiggery pokery, and that resulted in 1 variation being shown…the other - no sign of it. So on friday…another call and its now been escalated to a higher eschalon. I have spent H-O-u-r-s on this - thought it was going to be simpler and quicker…

Really? Nobody has the same problem? I tried to create another 12 shirt variations (S-XXXL, Black and White) and only 4 were created. Just random ones…

Hi there,
I’m having the exact same issue. I’ve been trying to list shoes, some styles have 30 variations but only 10 have been created, some have less variations but it still fails to create all the variations.
I’ve been back and forth with Seller Central about the issue but all I’m hearing back is;
‘Thank you for your continued patience. We are currently researching your issue in partnership with our technicians and will provide an update as soon as any additional information becomes available’
This has been going on for over a month now and is becoming increasingly frustrating. I know for a fact it’s nothing I’m doing wrong, the issue is on their side but they don’t seem to be fussed about fixing it.
I have 1000 pairs of shoes in storage, not selling because of this issue.
If anyone has a resolution please let me know.

I’m having same problem with t-shirt variations too have been several weeks now! Seller support haven’t been much help in fact i doubt they even understand as the replies are very basic and in no way helpful in solving the issues!

Hi there, I managed to resolve this problem myself. Try to add products by uploading an excel file. Go to Inventory>Add Products via Upload>Download an Inventory File. Then you have to pick the correct category, download and fill the excel sheet (there are few tutorials on YouTube). When you finish just simply go to Inventory>Add Products via Upload>Upload Your Inventory File.
PS You can add pictures later on, no need to add links in the excel sheet

Do you also sell shirts? If yes make sure your title isn’t longer than 60 characters. Here are new guidelines for clothing:

Titles are pretty tricky and took me a while to understand it
Your Parent ASIN should look something like this:
CompanyName Men I Love Dogs T-shirt
Child ASINs:
CompanyName Men I Love Dogs T-shirt White Small
CompanyName Men I Love Dogs T-shirt White Medium
CompanyName Men I Love Dogs T-shirt White Large
etc.
Also don’t use your EAN numbers as your Model Number.
