When the products are all shipped FBA is it at all reasonable of Amazon to apply a 100% DD+7?
Do Amazon really think there is a risk of 100% product/loss and or defect with their own storage/logistics delivery and if they do how is this the sellers responsibility?
DD+7 isn't realy about non-delivery. From their policy:
"Why are delivery date reserves applied to my account?
Delivery date reserves ensure that you have enough funds to fulfil financial obligations such as refunds, claims or chargebacks."
If your sales are fairly consistent then it will only effect cashflow for the one week.
As long as you have no major bills to pay in that week when cashflow is down then you will be ok because after that week the cashflow will be back to normal.
I have been selling on Amazon for over 20 years and can see no reason for Amazon to introduce the DD+7 policy universally ,when other platforms pay next day . So after reading the forums earlier this year , someone on there ,recommended contacting the UK Small Business Commissioner Office .which I was unaware of .

Following my contact , I am not on DD+7 policy and have it suspended back to daily disbursements . as the SBC is looking at the legaIity of Amazon introducing the DD+7 policy rather than reducing payment times.
All I can recommend is for Sellers to contact them directly and advise them of what Amazon is doing , holding onto most seller money for longer
