Hi everyone,
We a a European business based in Bulgaria, and we are selling on the Amazon US marketplace, in the category of "boat engine parts".
Since the implementation of the third-party insurance, we are self-limiting the revenue below 10.000$ every month, which is not a reasonable, business-wise move. Of course, since then, we have attempted a couple of times to source an insurer willing to cover us, in vain until now.
Recently, anticipating the enormous potential of Amazon, and willing to restore our account to its former glory, we started again sourcing insurance companies:
- Marsh - they did not even reply back. Total disappointment.
- leaderteam.ro - Insurance broker located in Romania. Very good customer service and seems to be at least familiar with Amazon details. Yet, the companies with whom they have contracts, could not undertake the risk of our category. "The insurers refuse to take because are parts from a bigger system that can brake and is higher risk"
Local Bulgarian Insurance companies:
All the above stated that they cannot offer coverage.
Does anyone have recommendations for insurance providers that can cover a European-based operating in the US? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
We are considering expanding to the EU, so we would definitely need coverage in the EU area, but let us find first something for the US.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks in advance!
