Seller Activation Getting Auto-Rejected
Hey, looking for some advice. I have just applied for Amazon Seller and have never had an account before.
My dashboard keeps getting the notification that my account is deactivated due to either documents or my bank card. I have submitted a gas bill and also an internet bill in PDF format, with all pages included and everything in good quality with my name and address clearly shown, but both keep getting rejected within 5 or 10 minutes of submitting. I was charged through my debit card today from Amazon Seller so I know it can’t be my card details that’s the problem, and my £1 market verification went through fine. I have tried opening cases but they have been automatically closed and I get a generic email response that it isn’t the appropriate email channel for my query even though it’s the only query option. My last attempt has been emailing seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk which I found on this forum from a few years ago. I have received a reply confirming they have received it but no answer as of yet - which is fine since it’s the holidays, I’m just hoping I get a real human answer and not a copy and paste of the document criteria again.
I basically just want to know if anyone has any last tips for me, or anyone knows any way I can speak to a person who could help if that email doesn’t work out? Failing all of that, and if my account never gets activated, can I claim a refund for the £30 that was charged (I’m not even sure why it was) or would I have to do it through my bank?
TLDR: sent documents following the criteria and my bank card has been charged and is connecting, yet continue to be rejected from activating my account. Any tips?

ALL new accounts are deactivated whilst they check and verify the info you have provided, both personal ID and business info. You just need to wait while they do this.
You were charged £30 because you signed up fir the professional selling plan. It is possible to get a refudnif you have not sold anyuthing.
Go to Settings (cog wheel) - Account Info - Your Services - Manage and downgrade to individual plan. You then need to open a case with seller support and request a refund of unused fees.

Try printing the pdf and then rescanning it in with a crease or similar (no idea why) and also make sure your details match exactly. like if Amazon has you as Mark T Smith, dont send a bill that says Mark Trevor Smith
