Manufacturer barcode not recognized?

Creating a listing for an existing product on Amazon, and would like to send to FBA without individual item labels. The manufacturer barcode matches to the product when scanned in every application I’ve tested (Google, Wal-Mart, Target, eBay, etc). However, it does not scan to the listing on the Amazon app.

Question: Do I need to apply Amazon item labels for each item, or will the the fulfillment center be able to use the manufacturer barcode (even if it doesn’t work in the app)? Thanks!
