We specialise in personalised branded products for years so we are no strangers to the seller application process. In the last two months, we have put forward 2 different seller applications for 2 different brands under the same manufacturers and the applications were rejected because the contracts do not outline that the manufacturer has permission to use their barcodes on the products. I have tried to explain that this piece of information is redundant when I am showing you that the entire purpose of the contract that I have attached is to show that the manufacturer now has bought the rights to the license agreement for the brand. Even when I go back to the manufacturer and ask for this information they are 1. Shocked that we are asking and 2. They outline that this information is expensive and timely to get because they have to pay for another contract.
I have highlighted all this in the case where I am having the issue, along with the fact that I have asked them to point me to where the guidelines outline that this information is a requirement and they can not. To add insult to injury, on the phone they have highlighted that it is the brand that I am requesting permission from that has made this a requirement and I have to say that this information seems false because not even a month ago I was approved under the same brand but a different manufacturer without this information.
If there is anyone that can help please we have been facing this issue for quite some time.
