Spanish Customs Nightmare

Is anyone else having problems getting shipments in to Spain at the moment?

Since the 22nd Jan, most of our shipments have been held in customs with the customer being sent a notice from the Spanish Customs authorites in some cases requesting payment of taxes and duties.

We are using GFS who are routing their parcels through Deutche Post. Our parcels are sent using an IOSS service. It seems that the Spanish authorities have not cleared these as IOSS parcels.

Your experiences, help and advice would be welcome.
