Product complaint - expired product
I have a product which has never had any complaints for about 6 years and now we have an expired product complaint. There was no order ID associated with this complaint. We requested a bin check on 6/21 and it still has not been completed. I called many times and was told bin checks normally take 48-72 hours and to wait. At one point, a seller support associate told me that the bin check resulted in all the products been moved to FC processing, that it is NOT in a bin check but with another team and I should send an invoice showing when the product was purchased. I did so but the appeal was denied.
At this point I just want my listing back. If I admit the violation, will the listing be reactivated and I can sell again?

Unfortunately, no.
I have received expired complaints before but I had to call the Account Health team to find out its not about expired products at all. Its due to the product packaging.
If you have the same issue, you will have to create a removal order for all of your inventory and create a new listings. Amazon did not let me sell on my old listing and forced me to create a new one but I was allowed to create a removal order. The old account health violation is now gone because I created a removal order.
Its possible your items were suspended for a different reason other than expired. I would call the account health team to check and begin with the reinstatement process depending on the reason your items were suspended in the first place.

Hello @Seller_CUZagmDe46RQ3,
Thank you for posting your concerns with your product.
Regarding your bin check request, can you provide the related case ID? We can engage our other community managers to review the situation and possibly follow up on that process.
Typically with an expired complaint, we will ask for a few different documents to help verify the situation which can include proof that your products meet our expiration dates on FBA products. What type of documentation do you possess that verify batch codes and expiry dates, what information have you provided thus far?
If we're asking for invoices, there may be a different issue as mentioned by @Seller_NbYSGJ8Tehgbv, or this was in effort to help verify that your inventory did not violate this policy. Did you receive any direct communication or notices to provide an invoice?
I also wanted to inquire if there were any other labels or markings that may have been misidentified as an expiry date?
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
