Read onlyHello everyone 👋,
I'm here to talk a little bit about the FBA Lost and Damaged Inventory Reimbursement Policy.
As an FBA seller, this is super important to know, so let's break it down in a way that's easy to understand.
First, let's look at the eligibility requirements: 🔍
For filing a claim, there are different processes depending on where the item was lost or damaged. Be sure to follow the right one and provide all requested info.
As for reimbursement amounts, Amazon will either replace the item or reimburse you. The max is £2,000 per unit, so consider third-party insurance for higher value items.
The reimbursement is based on estimated sale price, taking into account your past sales, other seller prices, and your listed price. Unsellable items get a discounted reimbursement.
And remember, you can dispute Amazon's valuation within 90 days if you disagree.

Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm happy to help.

Angie 🌼
Hi Angie,
I'm glad I found someone who is interested in this issue. I would like to forward you the post I just shared on another forum:
I was reimbursed for missing items on 3 shipments I sent at different times last month (FBA15JNL51XX, FBA15JNBMNF8, FBA15JM68GXT). However, the payment was much less than I would have received from selling these items, and even less than the invoice amount for my purchase.
I have received lost item compensation in previous years and have had no issues.
Here is the response to my lawsuit;
"After reviewing the refund amount for the ASINs... we have determined that we cannot make any additional adjustments.
The refund amount is determined in accordance with the relevant FBA terms of service of the FBA Lost and Damaged Inventory Refund Policy and the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement.
For more information, go to “FBA Lost and Damaged Inventory Refund Policy” (sign-in required): https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200213130''
However, my returns do not comply with the stated policies.
Hi Angie,
I've received a few notifications about inventory being unsellable or warehouse damaged, where do I see the reports for these and see my reimbursement reports?
Hello @Seller_wqQF1gB9etpGX,
You can review this information in the Inventory Ledger report. To find this report, go to Seller Central > Reports > Fulfilled by Amazon > Most Popular Reports > Inventory Ledger.
You can also go directly to the report by clicking here.

Does retroactively creating discrepancies on shipments for inventory lost in Amazon warehouses bypass this policy?
