Copy Listing Option

Hi,
Anyone having weird things happening when listing new products with variations, or copying existing products, particularly in the clothing category?
Listed one yesterday with size variations and although my inventory showed the listing and variations to be accurate, the product detail page gave no option to select a size and threw up an error when adding to basket. Logged with Seller Support and got a predictably unhelpful response.
Also having trouble using the ‘Copy Listing’ option. When I copy from one of my existing inventory items I get an error saying I’m not authorised to sell in the category. Despite the fact that I was authorised years ago and the fact that the listing I’m copying from is in that category. No restrictions on my account and nothing to flag any issues. Awaiting a Seller Support response on that one.
Seems like some changes have been made that has screwed things up a little. Or maybe it’s just me!
Thanks for listening!

Error 5461? If so - https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/forums/t/why-am-i-now-a-brand-when-i-didnt-register/515091/31

You need to click on the link in the error and fill in a “Selling application for Catalogue Authorisation” form, if it’s the same thing.

I ticked the ‘have barcodes’ & and other boxes that didn’t really apply. I have GTIN exemption for that category. So I just explained all that in the form and wrote a letter to myself authorising me to sell my own products.

Might not be the same issue. But if it is…

On Friday I tried to add a new product to the catalogue. It was a T-Shirt with 5 size variations. It’s a Novelty T-Shirt so went through Clothing>Men’s Clothing> Novelty or special use>Novelty>Tops and Tees>T-Shirt (think that’s the whole thing, doing it by memory though). On the Variations tab I ticked the Size box but the option to create the variations didn’t appear.

I’ve since done the same with the product route of Movie and TV fan apparel into t-shirt to see if it was different, and the variations tab only had size and colour as options, and they worked properly when ticked.

This was my first time using the new listing tool so i can’t say for sure, but I think there are problems with the new tool.
