Read onlyI was researching why we were getting less profit on same FBA product SKU when a non prime customer paid Amazon for shipping versus a prime customer free shipping.
All the amazon commission and Fulfilments fees were exactly same and the usual shipping charge backs - I discovered that it was due to the Digital Services fee on the Amazon shipping price.
Surely we should be getting same payout for a FBA product and if a customer chooses to pay Amazon for FBA shipping then this digital services fee should be in the Amazon shipping charge. We cant set different selling prices for prime and non prime customers so cannot guarantee a set return - although this is a small amount, on low value items this can make a profit % difference
Would appreciate if any sellers or mods can clarify
thankyou

Hello @Seller_xLwNMCbCJK72d,
As a UK-based seller, you'll be subject to a 2% digital services fee on Selling on Amazon and Fulfilment by Amazon fees for sales in various stores, including the UK, starting October 1, 2025. This fee is applied to cover digital services taxes implemented by several governments.
For more information about this change, you can visit Digital services fee. In case you've noticed a discrepancy with the percentage, please contact seller support. To contact them, go to Seller Central > Help > Help and resources, or click here.
Regards,
Angie 🪷
