Restricted product policy violations
Hi,
Hope someone can help. I have just received a product violation for a listing which was already selling and listed on Amazon. I closed the listing yesterday itself and I received the violation notification today. When I tried to sell the product Amazon approved the listing and now Amazon is saying that the product contained a restricted substance. I have clearly checked the product as well and it says no where that It has that substance. Can I still get the violation when the listing was already closed yesterday and what is the next step forward and will my account get deactivated now? Please advise.

Basically you can get that kind of issue for anything that is still listed in your inventory, even if you aren’t currently selling it. It’d help if you posted the message from Amazon so others can help, but generally you can delete the listing and i believe the violation drops off after 6 months unless Amazon have asked you to do something.

One of the product reviews refer to ‘drugs’ which maybe an issue
Also, as you are selling supplements, make sure you’re up to date on this policy
