SPD label but forwarder is using truck delivery

Hello, I'm a new Amazon seller. It's been almost 75 days since my FBA shipment was created, but the goods are still under customs delay in the U.S., and the clearance process has now been ongoing for over three weeks.

This shipment was arranged under DDP terms, so I provided my manufacturer with SPD shipping labels. These labels were applied to three outer boxes (16×19×19 inches, 36 lb each).

However, the freight forwarder has informed me that the boxes will be delivered to the Amazon fulfillment center by truck.

They also mentioned that, because it’s a truck delivery, they won’t be able to provide tracking numbers, and instead the delivery will be made through an appointment booking.

My main questions:

1. Since the shipment was created as SPD with small boxes, is it acceptable for a freight forwarder to deliver it via truck and appointment, instead of using a small parcel carrier like UPS? Will this cause any issues such as check-in errors, tracking mismatches, or rejection by Amazon?

2. If the shipment reaches the 75-day deadline and gets canceled in Seller Central, will the forwarder still be able to book the delivery appointment and complete the delivery successfully? Or will the shipment be rejected entirely?

I want to ensure the boxes can still be received properly.

If anyone has experienced a similar situation, I’d really appreciate your advice.

Thank you in advance!

This question is difficult to answer. You may have no issues, but I recommend to contact Seller Support to verify any necessary actions.

Amazon will continue to receive shipments that already have a confirmed dock appointment even if your shipment is closed after 75 days since shipment creation.
