Ungated sub-category - invoice

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I have been trying to get ungated or in other words approved to sell in the sub-category ‘toys’ for about 3 weeks now. I have given them my invoice from my supplier in China with all the details they require yet I am still getting the following response:

Invoice:
– The document provided includes information that does not match your selling account. Please provide an invoice that reflects your business name and address. (I have provided both my business name and address on the invoice)
– We were not able to verify the supplier information listed on the invoice provided. Please provide an invoice with valid, verifiable supplier information. (I’m not sure what this means)

My items are not counterfeit. They are unbranded and I see many people sell them on Amazon already. What can I do? As the Amazon representatives don’t work during COVID.

Any advice please. This is has bought my anxiety levels really high.

Your Amazon account business details need to match exactly the buyers name on the invoice

Amazon cannot verify your suppliers details, ie they are not an acceptable supplier as far as Amazon are concerned

Hi to be honest the issue all revolves around this bit below;

Although so much is made in China its the counterfeit capital, the invoice needs to be searchable and checkable and a lot of the none compliant suppliers lets say tend to not have things like there AIC number or vat numbers on the invoices some because they are likely cooking the books others because they aint legit

Without seeing it no one can tell you 100% whats wrong but I appreciate you not wanting to share a invoice I know I wouldn’t

Does the supplier information give address, website, contact details, any company registration number etc? Is it a proper invoice not a proforma?

Also, have your toys got ‘proper’ CE marks and have you got the Declaration of Conformity for them ?

I also believe that toys is the hardest category to ungate for a new seller

Note this section when selling toys made in China-

the address where the brand can be contacted (preferably its EU-based representative).

For info the differences between the CE certification and the CE Chinese Import

After asking Amazon about the reasons for me not passing the review, I got this response.

A little confused because now it seems like they have approved me to sell in toys. Am I correcting in thinking I can now sell my products in the toys category?

Thanks

How did you manage to get past the following :

Product Packaging Picture:
– The images provided do not meet the labelling requirements, which state that the label must contain a certification mark. Please provide images showing all sides of the product packaging including appropriate certification mark.

I have been stuck on this for weeks now. I have the CE label on my packaging and have also provided them with a Declaration of Conformity for proof.
