UK VOEC Historical VAT Owed - Unable to get the recalculated amount
Hello all, I have been contacted by Amazon for the historical unpaid VAT amount to HMRC as per UK VOEC. The interesting part is that almost all of our goods are VAT ZERO but Amazon had not acknowledged this fact until a recent communication (Case ID 9735530252).
Now that Amazon acknowledged the VAT ZERO status of some of the ASINs, it needs to re-calculate the owed amount so I can pay the historical VAT for the ASINs that are subject to VAT. However, Amazon has been unresponsive and it has been over 3 months now I am trying to figure out this absurd situation. My funds are still frozen and I stopped purchasing inventory anymore due to disrupted cash flow.
I need urgent help to get this resolved. Thank you.
