Overcharged by Amazon Shipping: Excuses, Lack of Transparency, and Possible Fraud – Has Anyone Faced This Issue?
Hello Everyone,
I’m hoping to get some insights or see if anyone has dealt with similar issues. Months ago, we purchased shipping through Amazon, but we’ve been repeatedly overcharged. Amazon gave us an excuse that the issue was due to "re-labeling," but here's the catch – my partner works at Evri, and every time a re-label happens, it shows up clearly in the Evri system. However, when we check the labels related to these overcharges, there's no trace of them in the system, which leads me to believe we're being charged unfairly.
Bare in mind Amazon confirmed the weight and size matched ours.
It feels like we're being robbed right in front of our eyes. This situation is especially frustrating because when I faced a similar issue with eBay, I was able to explain the exact problem and provide the relevant data. eBay reversed the charges without hesitation. But with Amazon, they keep coming up with excuses to cover it up instead of addressing the issue transparently.
Has anyone here experienced similar issues with Amazon shipping overcharges or lack of transparency? Have you had any success in getting Amazon to resolve such problems fairly, or does anyone have advice on how to escalate this further? It seems like Amazon isn't taking accountability, and we're stuck with charges that don't even align with what's shown in the shipping systems.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences and any suggestions for how to handle this situation.
Thanks in advance!
