Can you have variations using the same child ASINs in BOTH Seller and Vendor Central?

Hello,

If we are using two platforms, SC/VC and we have the same listings in each, are we able to variate in both? More specifically, if we have the variations originally set up in VC, would we use the variation wizard in Seller Central to create a variation there by using the same parent ASIN and create a parent ASIN SKU?

Or is it best to only use one selling platform to variate? If creating variations in each platform are there any potential issues such as category?

Thanks for the post.

While this isn't against policy, I would advise you to refer to your contract for what is/is not allowed for specifics and to avoid any policy violations. If you have a vendor manager, they would be a great resource for this as I can only speak to the seller side!
