Item being sent in original packaging -
Can anyone help with a way to expedite the process of getting Amazon to change an FBA SKU from having the shipping classification of SIOC (Ships in own container) to Amazon packaging- an Amazon overbox?
I’ve had 2 negative reviews stating that the item has arrived in the original packaging and damaged. The original packaging is a gift pack of books that is displayed in a decorative box. They have said that the item arrived dented with shipping stickers all over it.
I had no idea that they were being shipped without protection.
I created a case but the response was ‘you need 5 x returns and then we’ll look at it’.
I am in the wedding category, the sku is an engagement gift and to be honest if I received our pretty gift box that had in turn been through the mail and knocked about, I would be pretty disappointed too.
Thanks so much in advance for your help/advice.

I really do not know of any Amazon program where they package based on your specifications.
What I would do is I would remove the inventory to a warehouse, have them do what I need and send it back to Amazon. However, piece of information: I have done removal orders before on the US marketplace; they take forever to ship it all out, possibly in dozens of different shipments, the warehouse receives bits at a time, and sometimes the wrong products.

You need add additional packaging yourself to avoid any damage.
