GUYS NEED HELP

I still need help with this, I am just going in a litreal circle with amazon, over a matter so so simple...

Tried to sell an item but I cannot, getting an error because its generic, so I create a case and tell them

me: I want to sell this item

Amazon: send us pictures

 me: here u go

Amazon: regret to inform you this is not a generic product

me: yes it is the same product as the picture, but the listing is wrong, can you please change the listing then 

Amazon: yes send us a picture of the item 

Me: I already did but here u go again

amazon: regret to inform you this is not a generic product

Me: yes I know that can you please change the detail page to the correct brand name 

amazon: Plz send pictures

Me: here you go all the pictures so you change the detail page

Amazon: regret to inform you this is not a generic product

Me: THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE, YES I UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT A GENERIC PRODUCT, CAN YOU PLEASE CHANGE THE PRODUCT DETAIL PAGE TO THE RIGHT BRAND SO I CAN SELL THIS ITEM

Me: amazon I have sent you the pictures multiple times, please read older messages u will see the pictures, please read the previous messages

New seller here, its almost 3 weeks I cannot believe this is the seller support........ I thought Ebay was bad....holy sh%%

guys please give me ideas, how can I add this product????? I cannot keep going in circles.... I actually think these idiots are sitting in a room and just laughing at me at this point...... there is just no way, they are so stupid.......

any mods..... please helpppppp its been weeks I have been going back ad forward with u guys

Guys so I found the solution (sort of) I got good news and bad news...

Good news : They actually just allowed me to sell it under generic which makes me happy but it required over a month of back and forward, seller support can't help, the internal team can but there's no way to reach them so seller support is like a middle man, every 3 days u get a useless reply but after a month it actually worked...

Bad news: this means there is no actual solution for this, all of us sellers have to go through this again and again in the future until they can fix this.... this was a very temporary fix so good luck

The ONLY way you will get any help from a moderator is by tagging them in, by putting @ in front of their name and then selecting from dropdown, so the tag is highlighted in blue. There are several moderators, most have AMZ after their name, some CAM.

i suggest leave that listing and find the original brand's listing on amazon by simply searching the title of the product on amazon.co.uk website , there you can find other listings as well maybe in pack of 2,3,4 or 6 .. and try to list only those listing which are not shown as generic in the brand name section " the brand name should be the actual brand name instead of generic!

you can't list generic listings on your account from onwards ....

and in case you could not find any other listing than you might create your own one ! send few testing units first(10 or 20) beat the price by few pence and run ad for few days if you start getting sales then send more units and play the game..

Bsically, you wont be able to join this listing, and it shouldnt even actually be a listing anyhow, if its clearly a branded product with the brand set to generic.

You could fight Amazon to make the listing branded properly, but seriously, Id not waste your time. The only way youre going to be able to sell that is if theres a genuine branded listing under the barcode. If there is not one, you could create it, but 9/10 times its already in the catalogue but hidden as its been discontinued.

create a new listing while copying the name from the one you already have found under generic asin. Amz will give you suggested category and pictuures; or you put your own pictures and everything. I had same issue. It is the only way. In very few cases after a long time back and forth you find a wise guy to unblock you on that asin. It just not worth the while.

in add product section you put the asin you're not allowed, click search and then once the product shows up in the left bottom cornet you have the option ''add new listing''. Use that
