Deleting ASIN to remove locked product data

I have an issue with the product title on a listing. Apparently there was a contribution from Amazon’s ‘internal tools’ and now the product title says it contains beef when it doesn’t. I can’t change it and Seller Support’s response was:

When you find that the locked product data on an ASIN is incorrect for any of these SKUs, the impacted SKUs for the ASIN must be deleted for 24 hours, which will enable our system to allow changes to these locked attributes.

They have said that this will not affect my sales history but I am nervous about losing things on the product page like questions and reviews. If I delete for 24hrs and re-list will everything just be the same as before? (apart from the product title hopefully!)
