FBA Inventory Placement Fee charged on Shipment without placement service
Hi,
We sent in a shipment a short time ago without inventory placement service. However, after it was received, we were charged $2,552.50 in inventory placement fees. We created case 15986379561, but it has been set to transferred status 2 weeks ago and we have not heard anything since. Has anyone seen this before?

That cannot be "inventory placement fees", that doesn't exist any more. You certainly mean "Inbound placement service fee", but that is neither possible. That amount is much too high. Maybe a shipping adjustement? What does it say under "Transaction View"?

Shipments that are sent to a location that is different from the shipment plan (misrouted shipment) or that don’t arrive at our facilities within the timeframe specified per our inbound policies (deleted or abandoned shipment) will incur FBA inbound service fees based on the actual shipments received and inbound locations, which may be higher than the estimated fees at the time of shipment creation.
