Thermal label printer - FBA and shipping label squeezed onto one label.
This seemed to have just spontaneously started happening a couple weeks ago, and it hasn't corrected itself, so I thought I would ask about it.
I send my products to Amazon through the FBA program. It used to be that when I was setting up a replenishment shipment to Amazon, and I had to print both the shipping label and FBA label, my normal-sized thermal label printer would print each on its own physical label.
My thermal label printer is just a normal average thermal label printer. It doesn't do any other function besides print shipping labels. It is set up with the default settings. 4 by 6 inches.
Now, the past couple shipments, the FBA replenish system has been printing both the shipping and FBA labels onto the same physical lable, which means that each one ends up one-half the normal size, and squeezed together, and cannot be read by a scanner.
When I was troubleshooting the issue, I saw that the FBA replenishment system generates a PDF for the labels, and it is generated as being formatted for a full-sized 8.5 by 11 inch piece of paper.
I have tried to change the settings and sizes, but nothing has worked. So, I have been printing both labels onto a normal piece of paper through my regular printer, and just taping it onto the box very well.
Any suggestions to get the two labels to print onto two separate physical labels, like before?
