Read onlyHi all
We are a premium brand and therefore our RRP is higher than our competitors. Obviously this is an issue for Amazon's Featured Offer algorithm.
I understand how Featured Offer works but is there anything we can do our end (besides lower price, as we don't want to undermine our own website and core business). You can see in the example below we are not featured on our own products, on a number of variations (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DQVGVGPR?th=1)
We are Brand Registered if that makes a difference at all.
Hello @Seller_HmXs9Pk97Wcpt
Following on your post. The process to become the feature offer on Amazon is not based on brand ownership, we determine which items are eligible to be featured based on criteria that are designed to give customers a great shopping experience. Second, from this pool of eligible offers, we choose compelling offers to feature, this will include keeping the price of the product competitively.

As far as I was aware, who gets featured offer on an ASIN is not related to how you price vs similar products - its just based on the product on the ASIN. So you are supposed to price competitively against other sellers on the ASIN - not dog food in general.
Being brand registered doesn't make a difference and for some of those items on that Variation listing - you DO have the featured offer.
A lot of things pull into the featured offer. Now it might be that amazon is price comparing to your website if the EAN is exposed on your website - but it could just as well be your low Customer feedback rate is bringing down some of the ASINs where you haven't sold as much yet.
We're experiencing the same problem. We're the only seller of our brand. Prices match our own website and we don't want to undercut ourselves just to get the featured offer on Amazon. We have good customer feedback, no significant issues. This started happening a couple of weeks or so ago. I suspect Amazon have changed something - maybe made it stricter to try and force price drops?
