Products with different colours
Hi folks
I see people selling items where the buyer can pick a colour they prefer. How is this done?
We have a product in 4 different colours and want the buyer to pick the colour they want. All the products have the same number.
We are also having the same issue with some books. One is about numbers and the other is about the alphabet. We want to sell them individually with customers having the option of buying them as a pack of 2 but we can’t seem to list them as pairs because they have the same ISBN number. There is also someone who sells them in bigger packs.
Any suggestions please?

When you same the colours have the same number do you mean EAN?
If so then you cant list - each variation has to have its own EAN

If they are diffferent books, they must have different ISBNs: it’s a breach of the rules on ISBNs. Are you the publisher? If so, you need to change one of the ISBNs. If you are not, and the publisher is unable/unwilling to change one, then I’d advise not selling either. You risk complaints from buyers that you have sent the wrong book. Most buyers wouldn’t know about ISBNs but it only needs one who does
