All RTO/ Undelivered Orders are coming back OPENED up
Dear Amazon and fellow Sellers, I have been raising this issue since last one year or so that all my RTO / Customer Reject orders are coming back opened up. This is resulting in packaging losses as they are being opened up roughly, sometimes so brutally that they cut the entire box up for no reason. I have spoken to Local ATS hub Manager and he said they had a dedicated team at there hub just to do this Job.
As any other seller if we sell the RTO/Customer Reject return orders to the NEXT customer they could feel that they are receiving a used item as these boxes are opened by ATS, which would result in Amazon's policy Violation.
My losses are increasing with each passing day and I have not been provided with a resolution by Amazon.
Every time I have raised a case I am told to file Safe-T claim. Please note, Safe-T claim cant be filed for packaging losses and this would also exhaust my claim filing limits

The same process is being followed at JAIC hub also. They just open our Courier return packets and ruin the product like any thing.
We had hot discussion with hub incharge but we were failed to get resolution. They clearly stating that to raise case for the same. We will not stop the process.
We have faced loss of 450 units till date.
They just open the courier return packets and unpack the packed product and send it back like used product.
For how long we will raise the cases.....

Exactly!!!. Same issue have been facing by me with the Rto returns. This causes so much losses. Why these team are opening outer seal or packaging of any product. Due to this issue I incur so much huge losses. Amazon Easy Ship team has to take appropriate actions to stop this practice!!!.

Most of such activities are done by ATS staff only. Pickup and delivery agents are involved.

one word... pathetic policies of Amazon. We also received damaged product many times because it was packed properly to avoid Transit transit damage being fragile product, but Rejected order's too opened reason best known to Amazon causes damage.

Amazon cannot stop theft in their warehouses and put all the blame on sellers.

I think Amazon should move to Transparent packaging like Flipkart. Transparent packing can remove some mistrust of Customers as well as the Amazon supply chain. It should also be helpful in Safe-T claim validation.

-Someone told me they are searching for Gift Coupons and Review Rating Bribes which seller often sneekin to orders for better ratings.
- Or they are damaging the packages to that sellers get fedup of these losses and opt for FBA.

Same happening with me. And they damage the whole packaging also open the seal of the product. I sell beauty products, once its open I cant resell to other customer due to safety reasons.
