Free gift for "sharing your experience"?
So from my understanding, as sellers, we are not allowed to incentives reviews or ask for anything other than a completely natural review from a customer.
However, recently I purchased something from Amazon and received an interesting card within the order, which goes as follows:
"A SPECIAL GIFT FOR YOU
A. XXX B. YYY C. ZZZ
Fast and Easy to Get:
-
Find your order and share your great shopping experience.
-
E-mail us at -------.com with the gift you want and the link of your experience.
-
Wait for 10-20 days to get the gift."
This company has tons of reviews and has been selling for years now, so I wondered if their amazing choice of words, specifically “Great shopping experience” is allowing them to get through Amazons T&C’s, as theoretically they are not asking for reviews, as a shopping experience could be shared on social media. Or, have they just not been caught out by Amazon yet?
Would be interested to hear what some of you veterans think of this tactic and if it’s a sure way of getting suspended or a brilliant idea?

This is a duplicate thread (or very similar) to the one I have just replied to. Same reply, steer clear, in my opinion.

This is not so bad. They are not asking for a 5 star review they are only asking for a review. Which could be positive or negative.

Report to Amazon. It’s against their policies and only gets worse if unreported.
No wonder honest sellers have a hard time.
Wait 10-20 days for gift leads me to believe it’s a Chinese seller too!

Everything about that is against Amazon Ts and Cs starting with -‘Email us’ which is a prohibited seller activity.
