Checking fees has enlightened us a little to say the least
Hi guys,
up until now we have not been checking our charges/fees etc from amazon to make sure all is ok but because profits seem to be slumping and we have not changed anything we thought we needed to get to the root of this and started checking.
We have uncovered so many anomalies its going to take a day and lots of messages to support to sort out.
Todays one is we have had an inventory reimbursement from fba for an amount of £2.45 , we don't sell anything so cheap so how have they come up with this figure.. ?
Selling lots of things on fba really is starting to drag us down due to not knowing what actually is happening with our stock and profits. We find it far more easy when we fulfill our own as we can fully keep track of it and also we hardly get returns on our own fulfillment

I did open another topic on the forum,
but the new reimbursement calculations are incorrect
as Amazon are deducting the total amount of fees (including vat) to calculate what a seller would have received normally.
but of course this vat element is not for amazon to deduct as it cannot be reclaimed elsewhere - as the reimbursement is nett of vat all deductions from it should also be nett of vat.
