FBM Drop shipping from China Manufacturer (UK)
Hi everyone
I am a beginner on Amazon and Drop shipping. I have manufacturer in China who has agreed to work with me drop shipping products. Delivery time for the product from China to UK is around 4 to 5 weeks. I am trying to create a shipping plan but the only options available to me in terms of delivery time no where near 4-5 weeks as a professional seller.
My question, does Amazon allow manufacturers from China to work with UK suppliers using drop shipping with a delivery time 4-5 weeks?
and if yes to above question, how do go about creating a shipping plan in the UK with the delivery time 4-5 weeks?

If you are a new seller the drop shipping model will not work for you. Amazon will ask you at some point to show invoices for three random asins and you need to have physical stock for what they choose otherwise your account will be suspended.
It doesn’t mean you can’t ever drop ship although from China is very risky, have you checked through the drop shipping policy?

Also, have you actually seen samples of your goods to know that they meet your requirements and quality ? - as you could end up with lots of complaints of not as described and similar.

To be completely honest, if buyers are willing to wait 4-5 weeks, they buy from Wish. Amazon buyers want the items within a couple of days

You would probably need to set your handling times against your products to be around 35 days in order that your customers got the right information about the delivery time. I am not sure if it possible to set the handling time this high.
As others said you seriously need to look at the business model you are proposing. Are the products available on Amazon already with much quicker delivery times, if so why would they buy from you rather than someone else.
As others have said how can you be sure of the quality? If the item gets lost in the post are you making the manufacturer responsible or are you picking up the cost of the lost item? Are the manufacturer using a tracked method and will they share the tracking number with you?
