Seller with multiple buying options on same listing
Hi All,
I wonder if any one could help/advise please?
I sell a product which a few others also sell. One of the other sellers has multiple options to buy from on the same listing, 3 to be exact, all on at the same price. Is this normal practice and does this affect my ability to win the buy box, hardly seems fair if they just keep duplicating listings. Does Amazon allow you to create the same listing over and over again.
Thanks

No it is against policy although it may just be an oversight or glitch with 3rd party inventory management system
Are they all fbm though or is one fba, one fbm ? If so, that is permitted

Thanks all for your comments. I’ll keep an eye on my other products and if the seller does multiple listings on others I’ll report them.

I sold a book which someone had supposedly 9 copies of ,and it wasn’t common. They do it to gain space and either alter the wording slightly or sell under another linked company.Disgusting practice but then some of these large companies don’t know a good book from a hole in the wall. It’s a race to the bottom I’m afraid with price determined by algorithms. They compound this by then saying that some takings go to charity. As if!
