upc barcodes for amazon registered brand

Unfortunately despite being a handmade product , my product seems to be NOT eligible for GTIN exemption.

now being a small seller its impossible for me to buy 100 upc codes from gs1 as its super expensive around inr 47000

are there any alternatives ?

in past 6 days i have had a talk with roughly 30 amazon seller central officials ..

All of them collectively have sucessfully managed to completely confuse me.

as a matter of fact I am stuck in a never ending cycle of issues.

My account shows to be 'inactive' despite changing the vacation settings.

the officals tell me as I have not made any listings yet therefore its is showing 'inactive'

Now when i try to make a listing by using my own 'brand' (the 'brand' is registered and approved in amazon), the portal will not let me complete the listing as I donot have a 'PRODUCT ID', further more I get this "UPC Exemption Not Approved: To list Majestic products, you need to provide a valid product ID. Please enter the product's GTIN, UPC, EAN or ISBN to continue listing."

To surpass this problem ,I thought as my product is a 'handcrafted' item and i donot have a 'PRODUCT ID' therefore it must be applicable for 'GTIN exemption'.

Now when I go to link and "Click here apply for GTIN exepmtion >",

it redirects me to 'midway-auth.amazon.com/' and askes me to login using Amazon username and a security pin, which I donot have as im not an employee of Amazon.

Upon rasing multiple cases regarding my situation, now as of Today I am being told that my listing is not eligible for GTIN exemption and I need to buy UPC codes from GS1.
