Read onlyI am having an issue with getting refunds for unused postage on the following 2 orders:
111-3924794-2862618
114-7796972-0861831
I printed out the shipping labels on Amazon but found that the items were out of stock. I immediately requested the postage refunds via the link provided on the orders. After 1 month waiting, I receive following emails from Amazon:
USPS has rejected the postage refund you requested for order 111-3924794-2862618 on 12/17/24 for the following reason: The item is in the mailstream.

I want to clarify that I didn't use the label at all. In prior similar situations, postage refunds were successfully processed without any issues. However, this rejection has recently occurred without correct reason. I chatted with Seller Support today and the rep opened a case for me:

Could Mod take a look on my case and help resolving this issue?
If you used a scan sheet Amazon doesn't remove canceled labels, so to the USPS they appear as used.
Thank you all for your responses. Could someone from Amazon assist me with this? Does a moderator or any Amazon support representative monitor this forum? If anyone knows how I can escalate my post to Amazon, please let me know. I’ve seen other posts resolved through moderator intervention.
I already opened a case with customer support by first chatting with a seller support agent, who then created the case for me (case ID 17080498781). However, the response I received was a generic statement that wasn’t helpful at all. I’m quite disappointed with the level of support provided to sellers.
