Misleading choking hazard warning

Hello,

We sell kids’ products. Currently, we are experiencing an issue with a warning message that has appeared on our product listings: "CHOKING HAZARD – Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs." This warning is incorrect, as our products do not contain small parts and are safe for children aged 0+.

Initially, it was believed that this issue was related to errors in the attributes cpsia_cautionary_statement1, cpsia_cautionary_statement2, cpsia_cautionary_statement3, cpsia_cautionary_statement4, and safety_warning. Attempts to change these attributes via bulk updates did not yield the desired results.

We have also reached out to support and provided the necessary documentation to clarify this, including our Children’s Product Certificate (CPC), test reports confirming compliance with safety requirements, and additional photos of our product. However, we have not received a response yet.

Dear Amazon forum members, we need your assistance regarding this matter. If anyone has faced a similar situation, please share your advice on how we can correct this misleading warning on our listings.

Good Evening @Seller_DMe1qWfxGhrZB,

The ASIN is showing the choking hazards warning due to information that has been shared with Amazon about the product. When multiple sellers sell the same product through a single detail page, Amazon automatically combines the best product data from various seller submissions to ensure customers get the best experience. Sellers and manufacturers can contribute product information on the product detail page. This informationn can be found on the following help page here.

As Selling Partner Support mentioned on CASE ID ending in 2411, you can write into the child-safety@amazon.com team to appeal this warning if you believe the CPSIA Choking Hazard Warnings and Material Content Limits has been incorrectly placed but we cannot guaranteed it will be removed.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions regarding the information shared above and have a good night.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
