Why have I been charged Premium Seller Fee
Hi Everyone,
First of all please excuse my ignorance on the subject and i thank you in advance for your responses. I recently applied to join Amazon Handmade as we have a number of handmade offerings. Amazon accepted and we were very happy. When we followed the link to initiate the account we were told we had to upgrade our seller plan from Individual to Premium?Business plan. I was reassured that Amazon stated that a credit would be applied to our account to compensate the new £30 a month seller fee. However, £30 has been charged to my credit card account and as of yet no credit has been put on my account. How does this handmade scheme work ? am or have i done something wrong? We dont want to pay the £30 as our profits are small.

You have signed for pro account. If you don’t sell much every month, you can downgrade to individual account.

If you are definitely accepted in Handmade then raise a case - they will refund you as Handmade is free from the monthly fee till end of 2019

It might help to understand that it is only when an account is registered for handmade that the subscription fee promotion is applied.
If there is a gap between upgrading the account from individual to professional, and the account being registered for handmade, the system will auto apply a charge. If this happens, seller support are happy to refund the charge, but this can only be done manually and you would need to Contact Us through your seller central to request the refund.
