Please someone help, I'm at my wits end and my mental health is going because I put all into this and have a family to feed and bills to pay!

AMAZON LOOSE SHIPMENTAnyone any advise? Amazon have confirmed they have lost 360 units of a product of one of my shipments, around £5000, been told i would get reimbursed just waiting on 'credit team'. Never heard of a credit team, they have admitted they are at fault but now not replying to me and this is the CEO office.. never had this issue before. They have all documents and like i said, addmited they have misplaced/lost. Been over two weeks now and at my wits end loosing out because of cash flow

I’m really struggling as after Amazon confirming they are at fault, I’m now getting ignored but I’m loosing out on sales, I can’t feed my family and Christmas is round the corner, my life is falling apart but no one seems bothered. I’m sure they will be if they end up in court after one of the sellers ends up in a ditch one day, David v Goliath if you owe Amazon money they take it straight from you.

Pleaase help,CASE ID; ID 10543459072

You probably need to try small claims court

Yes, you can claim for incidental costs although there is no guarantee you will be awarded any or all of what you claim. I did once claim for the management time wasted dealing with Seller Support and the time in raising the actual small Claim and Amazon did not challenge it and the court made them pay.

But when I took DPD to court and claimed for something similar, their solicitor challenged it and I didn't bother pursuing it. I was just glad to win the case.

People keep mentioning small court, never done it before but if that does happen (cause I don’t know what else to do), are you able to claim for time spent, loss of sales, and time against them! Cause I’m pretty sure that’s what happens to us, don’t pay a bill you get a fee! Jokers

Hello @Seller_QbmTkfY097jJb,

Thank you for posting on Forums.

I'm Sarah with Amazon.

Upon checking with the partner team I have been informed that they have initiated a reimbursement on your behalf for the 360 units that were lost.

Could you confirm you have received the transaction details?

Kind regards,

Sarah.

I really feel for you - I know exactly how it feels for Amazon to cause such worry that you fear for your mental health. They made me incredibly anxious a few years back with something they were doing and it made me feel really unwell. It's so wrong this can be the case.

Having read the thread I notice a reply from Amazon saying they have reimbursed you. Whilst this is great news for the moment I wanted to send you a word of caution.... Be really conscious that Amazon may well find the missing goods and then reverse the reimbursement. This can happen at some point when they locate the pallet(s) etc.... When they reverse the reimbursement your account will then be debited the reimbursement amount and could then cause you further cashflow problems. I just wanted to warn you, so you could ask Amazon about that potential scenario. Just imagine if it was advent calendars...and they found them in January or food and it is then out of date etc...

I hope all this is fine though and you have no further headaches with this horrible experience.

I rarely send to FBA, but have sent some items there a few weeks ago. Shows received, then they lost 8 of the items.

They have reimbursed, but took ages.

BUT.. They have then located 1, and then charged me back for that. So, be careful, if they locate eventually, even if in a years time, they will charge you again. They may locate more of my missing items as all barcoded to show from us, so all they have to do is scan the box and know our products.

Amazon do not care about your health, hence why SS are useless, shows how much they care, none at all. So, do what is best for you, maybe only send a few items up at a time, less likely to then lose everything.

Or, sell and you fulfil the orders, although other issues then of course. If you have stock now, I'd do that if I were you.

Amazon I am sure want it to be as bad as possible for Sellers, proves by their actions. So, sell in a number of ways, not just FBA - they sometimes also destroy items if they think they do not conform (even if they really are ok), so again if just a few at a time, not a major loss.

At least they agree your consignment arrived and was lost - so they will I am sure issue you some sort of money.

I think chasing them also puts you to the bottom of the list again, so do not chase them all the time. I know with Buyer emails to Sellers, you get another 24 hours each time the Buyer chases, so likely the same for that Team. Just Amazon give themselves weeks to answer!
