Im experiencing issue I have been trying to resolve this through support tickets and requested calls from Amazon several times now and 35 days later Im STILL having the same issue. Every time the case gets «escalated to the responsible team» and no resolution is provided.
I am experiencing an issue while trying to add my Business Registration Number for DAC7 VAT/TIN compliance.
As a sole proprietor in Portugal, I do not have a separate Business Registration Number. My business and personal tax number are the same, linked to my NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal) .
And according to Amazon Seller Central article https://sellercentral.amazon.es/help/hub/reference/popup/30394, my Business Registration Number should correspond to my VAT number.
So why does amazon system says VERIFIED for my VAT number and reject it when I enter is as my Business Registration Number? It makes no sense! My page is showing warnings every time I open any page it wants me to resolve the issue saying I only now have 20 days left!
This is so frustrating! @amazon we need someone to fix this PLEASE!
