A-Z Claim policy breach

Hi All

On Amazon page https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/G200202220

Buy Shipping benefits and features

It clearly states in Table 1 Benefits

A-to-z Guarantee claims: If you purchase Amazon’s Buy Shipping and dispatch on time, you are protected against A-to-z claims where a customer reports problems with delivery. Those claims will not affect your Order Defect Rate but you are still responsible for the financial loss of these claims.

I currently have two A-Z Claims with an ODR of 0.46%

I have appealed this with Amazon c/s as advised but I was informed by an agent that "Buying shipping through Amazon Buy Shipping does not protect my ODR

What the hell!

In addition I wanted to add that I have just noticed that my ODR has now also increased from 0.46% to 0.55%

0.55%

Orders with a defect: 2

Total orders: 365

I have no additional A-Z claims, negative feedback, chargeback etc so how can the ODR increase by 0.09% with no additional impacted orders@

And now this response

Why was my appeal denied?

We have reviewed all available information and determined you have not provided sufficient evidence to prove delivery.

So two things 1) Not that I was querying the delivery aspect (although it had date & time + GPS pin drop of delivery by Royal Mail.

2) I was actually asking why Amazon are breaching their own policy as it clearly states in Table 1 Benefits

A-to-z Guarantee claims: If you purchase Amazon’s Buy Shipping and dispatch on time, you are protected against A-to-z claims where a customer reports problems with delivery. Those claims will not affect your Order Defect Rate but you are still responsible for the financial loss of these claims.

I could not of made it any clearer to the so called "Special Team" Oh they're special alright!

So instead of removing the ODR defects that should of not been placed on my account in the first place, they respond instead by telling me that they uphold their original decision regarding non delivery which is not what I asked about!

I have said before that I believe Amazon staff are trained not too answer questions because it suits Amazon's narrative.

Please Moderators sort this out.
