Different types of invoices
Hello,
I have a question what the difference is between some of the documents in the Tax Document Library.
There are different types of documents such as
- Fulfillment by Amazon Tax Invoice
- Merchant VAT Invoice
- AGL Merchant Self Billing Invoice
I suppose all the invoices/bills are deducted from the payment.
But what is the difference between them? Any help would be much appreciated.

They are for different services and such.
FBA - services related to fulfilling your sold and stored products by Amazon warehouse
AGL - I expect will be Amazon Global Listing - Amazon have purchased your product from you to fulfil an offer made on a marketplace where it wasn’t listed by you, eg. they have sold it in the States by buying it from you in the UK. It is just in effect a UK sale, but Amazon was the customer.
Merchant VAT invoice - the invoice for Amazon Seller Fees, commissions paid on sales made on the marketplace.
They are all separate because they are raised from different Amazon entities and treated differently for VAT purposes.
