Trouble with delayed shipments to Doncaster FBA centre LBA4

Has anyone else experienced long delays at this centre recently?
they keep requesting parcel force to send at a later date, and when that date arrives had requested a later date again!!
i know its xmas and expect it to be busy but approaching a month now.
is there a way of choosing your own fba centre? as i dont get this problem with any others.

I send via UPS to this centre and there were delays in November but now they are receiving shipments quickly. One sent last Thursday received yesterday.

Not sure why yours is delayed but it sounds like it is Parcel force struggling to get a slot to drop the parcels off. Possibly their strike action may have caused some delays.
