Account Deactivated over Copyright Violation of Used Book
This is so awesome. Account deactivated over a used book I sold. I had one copy and sold it months ago. I have no other copies, don't ever want to sell it again and have a fake copyright violation over a used book (which of course I did not copy so could not have violated copyright). The listing was deleted 2 months before they deactivated account. Now, they want me to update the violating information and deleting the listing isn't enough. So, what the mess do they expect me to do to fix a violation of a listing I don't have and a book I don't have?

Hi there @Seller_xB1ki7VXPlqeV,
I greatly apologize for the delay in responses here. The moderating team and I have been working as quickly as possible to reply to all threads.
I understand you have questions regarding your account and a copyright violation you received.
To quote the cited help page, "A copyright protects original works of authorship, such as videos, movies, songs, books, musicals, video games, paintings, etc. Generally, copyright law is meant to incentivize the creation of original works of authorship for the benefit of the public. To receive copyright protection, a work of authorship must be created by an author, and must have some amount of creativity. If you are the author of an original work, then you typically own the copyright in that work."
From where did you source this item? How did you verify the authenticity of the product? Did you ever obtain authorization to utilize the intellectual property in question?
it is important to provide a letter of authorization or licensing agreement from the rights owner or you will want to work with the rights owner to possibly have them submit a retraction directly to Amazon.
If you would like, feel free to provide any communication you have received in a reply, so the community and I can continue to support you here.
All the best,
Stevie.
