EIN # Does not match

I opened a seller account, but it does not accept my EIN number. It says that the name and Tax ID provided do not match the IRS records. I'm 100% sure the company name and EIN number are correct. We are talking about a business EIN that belongs to a corporation that has been active for more than 10 years. Why doesn't Amazon recognize it?
