Verification/Single Member LLC question
Hello!
When I had created my account I had it under a Single Member LLC that was owned by me. Right now I have transferred the ownership of that LLC to an S-corp that is again owned by me. According to the tax interview instructions on amazon.com, I am supposed to enter the business name and EIN of the owner - the S-corp. Which I did and now my profile lists the S-corp instead of the LLC. Assuming my amazon account is currently operating under the Corp, when I add the corp bank account as a deposit method on amazon, it asks me to verify it, and the verification options only list my personal name and the LLC name that the account used to operate under.
This is all so confusing, is my account operating under the LLC name now or the S-corp?

Hello @Seller_LQBNImBQN1ZCX
Thank you for your post. If you have updated all your information to the S-Corp, then you will be operating under that. It does take time for the systems and such to update. Continue with the verification process. We are aware issues with bank and account verification and are continuing to work with the seller verification team regarding re-verification of selling accounts over the course of the last month or so.
If you have questions regarding the documentation needed to re-verify your account, there is a seller help page linked here. Additionally, there is a FAQ page that highlights why certain documents are not accepted and which business type you should choose based on your type of business.
We do apologize for the inconvenience this process has caused and hope to get additional questions regarding re-verification answered soon.
Cheers,
Micah
