Different Variation Auto Merge and Reverted to Other Seller Parent ASIN
I am currently facing a recurring catalog issue related to product variations on Amazon. I have created two separate variation families, each with its own unique parent SKU and distinct parent ASIN. These were intended to represent two different product families with separate variations under each.
However, after setting them up, the system automatically merges both variation families into a single variation under one parent ASIN. This is not intended behavior, as each set of products should remain within its designated variation group.
To resolve the issue, I contacted Amazon Seller Support and was advised to delete both parent ASINs and recreate the variations from scratch. I followed this recommendation, carefully ensuring that each variation had its own unique attributes, parent SKUs, and ASINs. Despite this, the system continues to merge the two variation families into one.
The objective is to maintain two entirely separate variation families, each under its own parent ASIN, and prevent them from automatically merging.

To create two separate parent families, use two different parent flat files. Create a variation theme, fill in all required fields, and make sure to remove all child variations from the old parent first or delete the old parent first and don't use the same SKU for the new parent.
