Can't sell Sony Playstation items
Im receiving messages that Sony Playstation items are now protected and can’t be sold by me unless I have receipts for wholesale goods from Sony. I was previously able to sell these items, so I don’t think it’s anything I’m doing wrong unless I have angered the gods of Amazon. Microsoft and Apple restrict their products being sold second hand unless you are an authorised reseller.
This is not across the board, as I am still able to sell games and accessories as of this moment.
What are the legal implications of this practice by Amazon? As I would have thought that if you legally own the item you have the right to sell it, although of course Amazon can do what they want on their platform. However if they are allow some people to sell these items but not others, that throws up some questions. What do I have to do to get authorised to sell these products? Will Sony or Microsoft even deal with a small seller like me?

It’s only Sony Manufactured hardware and published games.
So things like FIFA, Call Of Duty, GTA are fine.
Some years ago a similar block was put on " Microsoft " products, but I have since listed second hand Microsoft titles such as Halo, Forza, etc, so I think a lot of it was rescinded.
It’s seems to be a panic move to try and stop scalping of PS5 consoles, and who knows, the situation may change in the future …
