Amazon denies my invoices from the manfacturer

Amazon received my FBA Shipment# FBA181DRJ7MS short several items. This is not a problem since we purchase directly from the manufacturer and have a letter of authorization to sell the products. I have successfully submitted cases for this type of issue hundreds of times, however this time Amazon will not accept my invoices, I get a vague and generic response that "we're unable to continue our investigation because the documentation provided doesn't meet one or more of the requirements for acceptance." I have asked what the issue is with the invoices so I can provide the information they are missing, but continue to receive the same response, "reopen another case and provide the documents" I am hoping a Mod can offer some assistance here, Case ID 16170550741.

Thank you!

Has anything changed? Any data on the invoice different than previous? What format are you sending it in? If its PDF try JPEG and visa versa.

Make sure all the data matches your business entity.

You said the source is the brand and you have an LOA specifically to sell on Amazon, is that accurate?

@Dominic_Amazonhas helped a few of these before.

Double check the invoice you are receiving. I recently noticed our company removed the "Invoice" factor by changing the "Net 90" to "Journal entry" I have no idea what that is and can guess they started entering the Net due amounts into a spreadsheet? I had to file with the IT department to change it back.

Amazon is a bot and they do not understand invoices nor will seller support offer exactly what amazon needs or is missing and all this makes you want to sell elsewhere eh....

You can marked the shipping date on the invoice, and you should specify the product name in detail as the same with the Amazon. And the most important is the invoice date, must earlier than the FBA Shipment creating date.

I don't know whether these can help you cause my case is still waiting for Amazon reponse since April. But i found some missing products have been add to my stock.

FBA is a bad deal for sellers. Besides all the time it takes to pack and send your items, and then usually there are issues with items getting lost or damaged, and the utter hassle it is to get any compensation from Amazon over it with their ridiculous invoice scheme - besides all that, which is a heck of lot of trouble to begin with, after a few short months your items then start getting charged storage fees. You are then encouraged to cut prices to sell faster, and the storage fees get higher the longer you keep the items there until finally you might as well just pay to have them returned to you. That's one scenario. In the other scenario your products are selling well so you decide to up the price, only have price controls kick in, and your item is delisted as a "price error" with no real hope of getting it relisted even if you lower your price. Of course no company that respects the free market should be involved in controlling prices that sellers choose for their own products, but Amazon doesn't believe in the free market - they do believe in price controls, and any price that goes up too much, even if the item is out of print yet still in demand, finds itself delisted as a "price error" (nice euphemism). And once it's price errored out you then have to pay to have it shipped back to you.

As we all know Amazon doesn't pack protectively and the chances of that item getting damaged on the way back are not small. If it does get damaged and you ask for compensation you again have to go through the invoices scheme and if you're given any compensation for your now damaged item it'll be a fraction of what you were asking for the item and you'll likely even get less than you paid for the item.. So, like I said - - - FBA is about the worst deal there is for sellers. It's a lot better to save yourself the headache, time and loss and only do Fulfilled by Merchant.

Hi @Seller_LwD761ZAjcx2E,

Happy to try to help with this. It looks like based on the invoice all the units you sent in are not accounted for on the invoice. The documents you provide to FBA have to match the shipment exactly.

Best,

Dominic

Reopen the case and send the same documents in.

They probably didn't even look at them the first time.

You have to do everything at least TWICE around here, especially when it comes to reimbursements.
