Pan-EU Call-Off Stock program ending today
As has been communicated by Amazon, their Pan-EU Call-Off Stock program ends today. I have recently received an email from Amazon stating the following:
1) If you enable Pan-EU FBA through VRN between now and November 1, 2024, we’ll reimburse €540 per country for the cost to obtain VRNs and file tax for 12 months in countries where you had enabled Call-Off Stock (in Germany, France, Italy or Spain).
2) If you enable Pan-EU FBA through VRN between August 1 and November 1, 2024 we’ll reimburse the fee difference between the European Fulfilment Network and domestic FBA fees for products previously enrolled into Call-Off Stock.
This is great, as I have already started applying for VAT numbers in the countries where I was previously using COS. However, given the limited information available, I am not sure I can trust the process enough to simply ignore the increase in fulfilment costs to EFN rates whilst the VAT numbers come through and hope I get reimbursed, and that assumes I'll have my VAT numbers before November 1st, which I don't think is guaranteed. I'm also assuming the reimbursement of EFN fees happens from 1st August as long as you add missing VAT numbers before November 1st. I don't think that is 100% clear.
Has anyone got any additional information, or clarity on this policy?
