French 'SIRET' number?

I have just exceeded the maximum 5% defect rate for providing VAT invoices to business sellers in the France marketplace. I was set up for automatic invoicing through Amazon so never had an issue, but now it appears it’s because, whilst I’ve submitted my French VAT number, I haven’t uploaded my SIRET number.

I never previously had to supply this, and I wasn’t ever warned by Amazon that I would need to supply it. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and did they manage to quickly resolve it?

Thanks
Marc

Hello @Littlefair_s_Wood_F1,

From your post I understand that you need assistance for the Invoice defect rate.

As per Amazon policies you need to provide either EU VAT number, SIREN/SIRET, or US Employer Identification Number in your Selling account. Since you have share the VAT number there will be no issue with this.

The Invoice Defect Rate (IDR) is all orders from Amazon Business customers, for which an invoice was not uploaded within one working day after dispatch, as a percentage of total orders from Amazon Business customers.

If your percentage of the Invoice defect rate went above 5%, kindly download the report from the account health to see the reason which order has been violated and for what reason.

Kindly check the help page below of Invoice Defect Rate (IDR) FAQ for more knowledge on this metrics:
